Weather: Snowfall

Because I work at my family’s company, I frequently volunteer to work overtime (the kind that doesn’t pay). Rarely do I get a full weekend break.

It was with great difficulty that I obtained a perfect, work-free two-day weekend, but it got ruined by the sand sculpture. QAQ

Today, fine snowflakes fell outside; the maximum air temperature was -3 ̊ C. I could’ve been lounging all day at home in my pajamas, but there I was in a high-end Japanese restaurant, wearing a suit and leather shoes as I watched the sand sculpture talk to his date.

That’s right, he finally succeeded in making an appointment with that Japanese girl. =w= Congratulations

However, why did he pull me along?! To be his translator?!

Did he not think I was a big, giant light bulb1?! Sitting next to such a bright man, how did he not turn blind?!

I’ve seen many foreign dramas, but never have I seen ones with this kind of broken plot. OTZ

Obviously, the girl also found this situation extremely awkward. She kept her head down low the whole time and didn’t mutter a single world.

I thought the sand sculpture would realize there was something wrong with this situation and quickly allow me to go home so he could be alone with her.

However, never did I expect that he would be the one to leave half-way through the meal. To make it worse, he sent me a text after he left, ordering me to use my friend status to put in a few good words for him.

(╯=□=)╯︵┻━┻ Put in a few good words, your sister!

This was his girl, not mine! Why should I talk to her?!

Did he want to wear a green hat2?

I asked him what he was thinking; he replied that he thought I was more eloquent than him.

Was… Was he praising me?

Translator’s Notes:

1. light bulb (slang): third-wheel or unwanted third party spoiling a couple’s date

2. a cuckold; to be cuckolded by one’s wife (or lover)
